Privacy
How the operator of Just Write It handles your information when you use Just Write It.
What we collect
- From LinkedIn when you sign in: your name, email address, profile picture and LinkedIn member id.
- A LinkedIn access token that lets the app publish the posts you approve. It is stored encrypted and expires after about 60 days.
- What you create: topics, notes, photos you upload, answers to questions, drafts, slides, settings and your posting schedule.
- Basic usage records (such as how many posts you started this month) to apply plan limits and keep the service safe.
What we do with it
We use it only to run the service for you: to research and draft posts, design carousels, publish what you approve, send service emails, and manage your plan. We do not sell your data and we do not use your content to advertise to you.
Who processes it
To provide the service we rely on these providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the application and stores uploaded files.
- Neon stores the database.
- Anthropic processes the text and images you submit to research, draft, suggest and read notes.
- OpenAI generates slide illustrations from short image prompts.
- Resend sends service emails such as failure and expiry notices.
- Stripe handles payments; we never see your card number.
- LinkedIn signs you in and publishes the posts you approve.
Your content is sent to Anthropic and OpenAI only when you use features that need it. We do not allow them to train on it where their terms give us that choice.
Posting on LinkedIn
Posts are published only after you approve them, through LinkedIn's official sign-in. We never see or store your LinkedIn password. You can disconnect at any time, and you can revoke access from your LinkedIn settings.
Your control
- Export everything we hold about you, and delete your account and all of it, from Settings.
- Deleting your account removes your drafts, topics, settings, schedule and stored LinkedIn token. Posts already published on LinkedIn stay on LinkedIn.
- Backups that contain deleted data are removed within 30 days.
Cookies
One session cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit; LinkedIn tokens are encrypted at rest; each account's data is separated from every other's. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us if you notice anything wrong.
